Golf is a major attraction in the area, with the renowned La Hacienda Alcaidesa Links Golf Resort close by. Its Links course enjoys a spectacular setting overlooking the Mediterranean, while the wider Sotogrande and San Roque area is home to some of southern Spain’s most highly regarded golf courses.
Along the Alcaidesa coastline, you’ll find a selection of beachfront chiringuitos, perfect for enjoying a relaxed lunch, fresh seafood, or an evening drink by the sea. Alcaidesa also has a commercial plaza with restaurants and additional places to eat.
A short drive away, Sotogrande offers an even wider choice of restaurants, cafés, and bars, together with its stylish marina and waterfront. The area is particularly enjoyable for an afternoon or evening out, whether you’re visiting for lunch overlooking the marina or drinks as the sun goes down.
